On August 5, 2025, Capital College of Higher Education (CCHE) hosted its 18th Freshers Day at State Academy Hall in Kohima. Commencing at 9:30 a.m., the program was chaired by Miss Imtitula Longkumar. Mr. Vezuhu Keyho, Chairman of the CCHE Governing Body, served as the guest speaker. Rajesh Das and Menesenuo Kire were crowned Mr. and Miss Fresher 2025, respectively, Mr.Hinoka Swu and Mr. Ruopfuvisienuo Visienyü received the People’s Choice awards. The judging panel comprised Mr. Zhozo Chizo (Mr. Best Personality of Northeast India 2024), Mr. Velou Soho, and Miss Lasmi Rabha.
